Welcome!

We are the Sydney Thirsty Hash House Harriers - the world (in)famous "Drinking Club with a Running Problem".

WHAT?
Every Thursday at 6:30pm and on the first Saturday of each month.

WHERE?
See Upcoming Runs; start location is different each week

WHY (abbreviated from original hash of 1938)?
To promote physical fitness among our members
To acquire a good thirst and to satisfy it in beer
To persuade the older members that they are not as old as they feel

WHO WE ARE?
A friendly group of women and men social drinkers with a running problem. Everyone is welcome to join us!

WHAT DO I DO?
Turn up at the start location and look for runners. We'll introduce you to the group and explain how the runs work. On your first run, we'll assign a buddy to look after you! Feel free to bring a bag with street clothes etc. Someone watches all the bags while we run.

HOW FAR AND FAST DO YOU RUN?
Runs are usually 5-8km, and our group has walkers as well as runners who run anywhere between 5 and 8 minutes per km.

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
The fee is $10 per run; you can pay at the run. We usually go to a pub after the run for dinner/drinks, so you might want to bring money for that.

We are a social bunch of folk who have fun and welcome anyone else who would like to join us, be it on a regular basis or just visiting. R*ns every Thursday at 6:30pm and the first Saturday of each month.

Visitors are most welcome. Contact us with any questions!
