Run fees are going cashless – and getting cheaper!
Thirsty is changing the way we collect run fees. We're going cashless, which means you can pay in advance with a bank transfer and not have to bother with coins on the day. Even better, the standard fee of $100 for 15 runs gives you almost a free hash when compared with paying in cash. You can of course continue to pay by cash, but going cashless will help us budget and manage your money more efficiently, as well as making life more convenient for you.
Your prepayment never expires, so you don't lose out if you go on holiday or are away from Sydney. You'll be able to check your balance online and we'll send a friendly reminder email when you're running low. If you leave Sydney permanently you'll get a full refund of unused runs. If you're already on a 6- or 12-month prepayment plan, you'll still receive all the runs you've paid for. Hash cash will be in touch over the next few days.
You can sign up right now. Just transfer $100 to the regular Sydney Thirsty Hash House Harriers bank account (BSB: 112-879, account 044237392) with your hash (or real) name as reference. You'll then be paid up for the next 15 runs you come to, and won't have to worry about cash for months to come.
